A fresh approach to strawberry margaritas with no artificial colors, syrups, or additives.

1/2 cup sliced fresh Strawberries 2 tsp. Granulated Sugar 4 oz. Tequila (silver [blanco] or reposado) 2 oz. fresh Lime Juice 1 oz. Triple Sec (orange liqueur) 1/2 oz. fresh Orange Juice 2 tsp. Agave Syrup (also called “agave nectar”) small pinch of kosher Salt

Step 1

Mix the strawberries with sugar and let them macerate. This helps draw out the juices and makes them easier to muddle and more flavorful!

Muddle the strawberries.

Drain and let cool. Trim off the exterior leaves, leaving the tender artichoke heart.

Add tequila, triple sec, lime juice, orange juice, agave syrup, and salt.

Step 4

Strain into glasses full of crushed ice.
