Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. unsalted butter softened
  • 4 cloves roasted garlic or more to taste
  • 2 slices fresh bread, sliced about 1/2" thick sourdough, french, or Italian bread
  • pinch flaky sea salt
  • 1/3 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • finely chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 F. Prepare a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the softened butter and roasted garlic cloves in a small bowl. Smash the garlic into the butter, and mix until combined.
  • Divide the roasted garlic butter between the bread slices. Lightly sprinkle them each with a small pinch of flaky sea salt.
  • Divide the cheeses between the breads, then bake at 375 F for 5-6 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and browned.
  • Remove from the oven, and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley. Serve hot!
