Creamy jalapeño ranch dressing made in just 10 minutes! This small batch recipe makes about 1/2 cup and is fresh, herby, lightly spicy, and perfect for tacos, salads, burgers, and more.
1/2medium Jalapeñoabout 1/4 cup of sliced jalapeño
1 1/2tablespoonsfinely chopped Cilantro
1tablespoonfinely chopped Parsley
1teaspoonfinely chopped Dill
1teaspoonfinely chopped Chives
1teaspoonFresh Lime Juice
1/4teaspoonGarlic Powder
1/4teaspoonOnion Powder
1/4teaspoonKosher Saltplus more to taste
Instructions
Combine Ingredients in a Small Food Processor. Add the sour cream (or Greek yogurt), mayonnaise, jalapeño, cilantro, parsley, dill, chives, lime juice, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt to a food processor or blender.
Blend until Creamy. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
Season to Taste! Taste and adjust the seasoning. Most of the time I end up adding another pinch of salt, but feel free to add another squeeze of lime, more jalapeño, or extra herbs until it’s exactly how you like it!
Notes
To use dried herbs, reduce the amount by half. This works for the parsley, dill, and chives. I do not recommend using dried cilantro. If you're not into cilantro, just leave it out! To make a thinner dressing, add a splash of milk or buttermilk. To make a thicker dressing, add more sour cream or mayonnaise.
