1/4cupchopped Green Onions
1/4cupshredded Carrot
1/4cupfinely chopped Celery
2tbsp.Blue Cheese Crumblesoptional
Instructions
For the Creamy Ranch:
Combine all ingredients into a small bowl and whisk together until completely combined. Set aside to let flavors blend.
For the Slaw:
Toss all ingredients together in a bowl. Mix with the creamy ranch just before serving. Taste, and season with salt and pepper (if desired).
Notes
*For ranch seasoning, I recommend the Hidden Valley packet from the store if you're looking to keep this super easy! If you' prefer a homemade version, check out my homemade small batch ranch dressing recipe! (The only difference between that recipe and this one is one tablespoon of buttermilk; I use one less tablespoon of buttermilk in this slaw so they "dressing" stays thicker and adheres to the slaw better!)**Any lettuce will do! I tie this recipe in with my buffalo chicken lettuce wraps, so I recommend using whatever lettuce you're using for those. Otherwise, iceberg or romaine are great options. The crunchier the lettuce, the more it will stand up to the creamy ranch.If you don't like blue cheese, you can use crumbled feta instead! Or even shredded cheddar; or you can omit the cheese.
